Annual Meeting - October 09, 2022

Atwood Yacht Club will hold our Annual Meeting on Sunday, October 09, 2022 at 2:00 PM in the ballroom. It is your responsibility as a Voting Member (Active or Senior) to attend this meeting or have another Voting Member present to represent you to answer the roll call.

This is extremely important! The By-Laws state that we must have 33% of our Voting Membership represented in person or by proxy in order to conduct a meeting. Without a quorum, the meeting would have to be rescheduled.

Casting Your Vote

We are offering both Digital and Paper Ballots.  Your packet includes the paper ballot detailing the slate of 2022 Officers and Trustee nominees and proposed by-laws changes. The proposed by-laws changes have been endorsed by the Board, but require membership approval in order to be enacted.

Virtual and Mail-In Ballot
  • You may choose how you want to vote - paper ballot, or online.

  • Your digital ballot will be emailed the week of 9/26 from Survey Monkey. This email will be unique to your email address.

  • If you use the paper ballot, please return it by Monday, October 3rd, or give it to your proxy.

  • If you are going to use the Virtual Ballot, please submit by Saturday, October 8th.

Attending The Meeting

Make your decision on how you would like to attend:
  1. In-Person Meeting! Come to the Ballroom at 2:00 PM.

  2. Virtual Meeting! Join via Zoom.

  3. Unable to attend. Even if you can't attend, make it a priority to give someone your ballot and signed proxy.

In-Person Meeting Option:
  • Instead of a formal Roll-Call, members will check in with the Secretary at the door to mark their attendance.

  • At this time, you may turn in your paper ballot.

  • While checking in, members will also turn in any proxy ballots for members they are representing.

Virtual Meeting Option:
  • If you are attending the virtual meeting, ensure you've submitted your ballot in advance.

  • You will need a computer with internet access and speakers.

  • On the day of the meeting, join the Zoom meeting.

  • Use your full First / Last Name in Zoom is preferred so we can get accurate attendance.

Once again, we look forward to seeing you - In-Person or Virtually - on October 9th at 2:00 PM. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me or another Board member. Thank you for your participation.

Very truly yours,

Aaron Ley, Commodore 2022

Ron Dziedzicki, Secretary 2022
